Extending as an integral part of Mahalangur Himalayan Region, Kyazo Ri peak is elevated to the height of 6186 meters above the sea level. Mt. Kyazo Ri chains a long line of peaks ending at Mt. Cho Oyu, running all the way along the northern limit of Namche Bazaar, the gate way to Everest.
A Franco-British team in 2002 climbed the peak to make it the first successful ascend to the summit. Though fairly summated, the peak is gradually becoming popular among the climbers from around the world in recent years. The adventure and challenge this trail proffers is worth taking. The most habitual route to the peak follows the same trail to the Gokyo valley. Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu.
Day 02: Kathmandu tours and preparation for Kyajo ri expedition.
Day 03: Flight from Kathmandu to Lukla Then trek to Phakding.
Day 04: Trek from Phadking to Namche Bazaar.
Day 05: Rest day at Namche Bazaar for Acclimatization.
Day 06: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Phortse.
Day 07: Trek from Phortse to Dole.
Day 08: Trek from Dole to Machhermo (4150m).
Day 09: Trek from Machhermo to Kyajo Ri Base Camp.
Day 10: Trek from Kyajo base camp to high camp I.
Day 11: Trek from camp 1 to high camp II.
Day 12: Rest in camp II and all preparation for climbing.
Day 13: Summit to Kyajo Ri peak and back to camp 2.
Day 14: Trek back from camp II to Machhermo.
Day 15: Trek from Machhermo (4150m.) to Khumjung village.
Day 16: Trek from Khumjung to phakding (2886 m.).
Day 17: Trek from phakding to Lukla.
Day 18: Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu, evening farewell dinner.
Day 19: Transfer to airport for onward destination.
